The IITB campus is home to about 180 stray dogs and 40 stray cats, who are cared for by members of the campus community who love animals. However sometimes these community animals need hospitalisation for various ailments, or serious accidents. For such emergencies we need funds to cover the medical expenses and any foster charges. IITB has set up an account to which you can donate money, and avail tax deduction under section 80G.
